Samantha Brooks – Buhler
Sammie is our goalkeeper. She is a returning starter from the end of her freshman, all of sophomore, and junior season. Was captain her sophomore and junior season. Her first start was her freshman year in the state quarterfinals. She stepped up and was huge in getting us the state championship. Eventually losing to Bishop Miege. She was second team all-state as a junior and honorable mention as a sophomore. Sammie is a leader that everyone listens to and follows her lead. She leads by example with her hard work and commitment. She is a three-sport athlete that is also in band. Can’t say enough good things about Sammie. If you need more information, please reach out. She is an under the radar goalkeeper, due to not being able to play club because of her other sports/activities.
Madison McCool – Buhler
Madi was second in scoring and led our team in assists as a freshman last season. She was second team all-state as a freshman. I’ve not seen many girls that show the dedication she shows towards soccer. She is constantly practicing and playing. She is in for a big season this year! Excited to see how she does.
Juliette Shank – Buhler
Juliette always gives her all and will step up however the team needs. Her sophomore year she had to play goalie for us against our in town rivals (Hutch High) due to our starter being gone. We didn’t have a true back up goalkeeper, so we had to ask someone with very limited experience to jump in. When I asked her to, she did it without hesitating. Also making some big saves for us and keeping us in the game. Juliette was asked to play on our defensive line as a junior, after playing in the midfield as a sophomore. I know she prefers to play in the midfield, but she did this for the team without batting an eye. You know what you’re going to get from her every day and every game…. her all!
Claudia Taylor – Buhler
Claudia is a high character person. Works hard, is a good teammate, and makes smart choices in her lifestyle.
