The Salina South boys bowling team took eighth last season at the Class 5-1A Tournament and Will Krannawitter, who was one of the Cougars’ top bowlers last season, thinks big things are in store for his team this year.
“The thing I’m most excited for this season is being able to spend another year with my team,” Krannawitter said. “I think we have a shot at state this year and it would be my senior year wish if we could win that.”
While Krannawitter wants to win a state title, he also wants to enjoy the ride of his senior season.
“The goals I have for this year are to focus on the game and also being able to focus on having more fun,” Krannawitter said. “I would love to make it to state with my team this year and be able to win it.”
Some of Krannawitter’s scores last season were really good, but he struggled with consistently being good. That was the one area he is focused on improving in 2024.
“One area I would like to improve on this year is staying more consistent with my scores, last year I wasn’t too consistent but I have a feeling that this year will be different,” Krannawitter said.
