As a quarterback there are a lot of things to work on and prepare for the upcoming season, and senior Owen Just has done just that.
Just last year had 1,900 passing yards and 18 touchdowns, as well as 300 rushing yards for Minneapolis.
This offseason Just went to camps and worked on his timing and decision making with his receivers.
“I want to improve on decision making. When to throw the ball away, when to take a sack or when to take a risk,” Just said. “Watching film has been big for me.”
Last year the Lions went 3-6 and Just has made it a goal this offseason to finish with a winning record his senior year, as well as improve his own skills.
On the field Just’s role for the team is to be an energy guide and role model for his team.
“I want to be a leader and provide a source of energy when the team is dragging,” Just said.
