Dylan Hall was a dominant force on the offensive line for McPherson last season. Hall was a second team all-league lineman for the Bullpups.
“One of my biggest goals is to earn recognition and make a name for myself this season,” Hall said. “I only gave up one sack last year, and I’m aiming for zero this time around. On defense, I want to be a consistent impact player. My goal is at least one sack per game.”
During the time off, work didn’t slow down for Hall, and he found himself training and mastering his craft for the upcoming season.
“This offseason, I’ve been putting in serious work,” Hall said. “My main focus has been improving my speed and agility while continuing to build strength. I’ve also been working a lot on refining my technique on the defensive line, just dialing in the details to take my game to the next level.”
McPherson brings the talent to the table every year, but Hall is confident that this is the year where all the work pays off.
“I’m really excited for another season alongside my brothers and coaches,” Hall said. “We’ve all been grinding hard this summer, and I can’t wait to see how far we go. There’s a different kind of energy this year, and I’m ready to bring it every week.”
It won’t always be an easy ride to the finish line, and Hall knows just who will give them the most trouble.
“I’m definitely looking forward to week one against Great Bend,” Hall said. “And of course, the matchup with Buhler, that one always brings out the best in us.”
