Kas Kramer gets ready to return to Ell-Saline for his senior year after a standout junior season. With over 1,000 rushing yards, over 100 carries, and 20 touchdowns, and an all-league and All-State mention, Kramer is eager to get back out on the field to do it again.
“My main goal for this season is for my team to make it to the state championship game this year,” Kramer said. “We had a rough ending last year so this goal is definitely one we are going to chase hard. Another goal is to
accomplish 1000 rushing yards again.”
With the season right around the corner, Kramer trained all offseason to strengthen both his physical and mental abilities. “I prepared for this season by staying in the weight room this summer and getting my team into the weight room as well,” Kramer said. “One weakness I want to work on is blocking from the running back position and helping my quarterback out with that.”
One last season for Kramer leaves him with a long to-do list, and he’s excited to meet up with some familiar faces.
“I’m excited to take on Central Plains and Little River again, both those games are really fun and competitive,” Kramer said. “My most memorable moment is when we stopped Little River from getting the two point conversion and we upset them by two points, winning the game.”
Although his last season as a Cardinal, Kramer hopes to continue his athletic journey in the future.
“My future plan is to play football in college as a running back or a wide receiver,” Kramer said.
